Lexïng Zhang is an entrepreneur working at the intersection of fine art, fashion, architecture

and design. With an international roster of artists and clients, Zhang is committed to fostering collaborations and dialogues on a global scale. She takes pride in connecting individuals from disparate cultural backgrounds with a focus on generating a positive social impact in every project.

Born in Xinjiang, China—the backbone of the country’s ancient Silk Road trade route—Zhang was exposed to the intricacies of cultural exchange early on by her father, a collector of antiquities. After earning degrees in economics and art history at the prestigious Fudan University in Shanghai, she went on to earn a master’s degree in international business at ESCP Europe in Paris. Her studies abroad led to enriching experiences working for both LVMH and French Vogue, where she married a passion for creativity with business savvy and financial acumen.

Since October 2010, Zhang has been the driving force behind ART LEXÏNG, a creative agency and gallery space founded in Miami, Florida. Working with local community leaders and serving as an executive committee member at various museums cultural institutions (e.g. the Museum of Contemporary Art, Miami City Ballet, etc.), Zhang endeavored to introduce the city’s burgeoning arts scene to young, and often overlooked, artists from her homeland and beyond—including collage artists Ye Hongxing and photographer Quentin Shih.

The 2016 elections had a disruptive influence on the gallery’s operations. Perceiving a need to counteract the divisiveness plaguing much of the political rhetoric in the West by fostering positive dialogues among an international community of creators, Zhang expanded the operations of the gallery to a global forum for art, fashion, business and technology. Soon the creative history and unique magic of Mexico City had Zhang relocate ART LEXÏNG to the city’s Roma Norte neighborhood, where it continues its mission of providing an international platform for young

and emerging artists.
